Adèle Mahabir was born in Trinidad, and currently lives in Darien, CT. Since childhood, organizing and cleanliness have been a healthy obsession for her, so she naturally made it her field of study and occupation.
Moving to New York as a teenager, she initially pursued a career in accounting while studying interior design at FIT. It wasn’t until her late 30s when she was hired by her employer to manage the move from their Westchester house and NYC apartment to a condo in NJ. This experience gave her the push to change career paths and dedicate herself to her passion of creating clean, functional spaces, and Adèle Home was born.
Having worked with dozens of clients in the Tri-state area, Adèle focuses on building a harmonious relationship between a room and it’s contents, paying close attention to functionality and personal style. She is uniquely able to help people move into new homes by reducing content footprint, removal of superfluous items and maximizing the use of space. She is a master at sifting through personal belongings and artfully organizing them to keep a clean and orderly home that works with your lifestyle.
"From packing to unpacking and organizing all our household items and belongings, Adele did the entire move for us."
